The fourth commercial scale DMTO plant, China Coal (Yulin) MTO plant, started up successfully on Jun. 30th, 2014. Mixed olefin products were produced at 23:18 pm on Jun.30th, and polymer grade ethylene and propylene were produced at 16:00 pm on July 11th.
This DMTO plant is the core part of China Coal Shaanxi methanol to acetic acid series deep processing and comprehensive utilization project. It has two stages, including 3600KTA methanol/1200 KTA olefin. First stage project includes 1800 KTA methanol, 600 KTA DMTO, 300 KTA PE, 300 KTA PP, MTBE and OCU.
